U.P. RERA Revolutionizes Fund Transfers: A New Era for Allottees
Streamlined Processes Enhance Speed and Efficiency in Recoveries
Lucknow/Gautambudh Nagar: In a groundbreaking move, the U.P. Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has linked its portal with the banking system, drastically reducing the time taken for money recovery transfers to allottees. This innovative integration promises a faster, more efficient process for all parties involved.
Instant Updates for Swift Transactions
Under the new system, as soon as recovery certificates (RCs) are cleared, banks will promptly update transaction details in real-time through an API. This allows U.P. RERA to instantly notify allottees via email, requesting the submission of a notarized affidavit necessary for the fund transfer.
Simplified Affidavit Process for Allottees
The affidavit, which must be submitted in a specific format, includes essential information such as bank account details and any relevant injunction orders. Allottees are encouraged to act quickly, ensuring that their affidavits are filed either in person or via speed post to the U.P. RERA offices in Lucknow or Greater Noida.
Commitment to Timely Justice
Sanjay Bhoosreddy, Chairman of U.P. RERA, emphasized the authority’s commitment to expediting justice for allottees. This new system not only streamlines the recovery process but also ensures that allottees receive their funds promptly. He urged allottees to adhere to the updated procedures to facilitate swift financial transactions.
Improved Monitoring and Efficiency
The revised Standard Operating Procedure (S.O.P.), issued on September 10, 2024, aims to enhance the monitoring of financial transactions recovered through district magistrates. This proactive approach will mitigate delays historically associated with traditional mailing methods and improve the overall experience for allottees.
With these advancements, U.P. RERA is set to transform the landscape of real estate recoveries, making the process smoother and more user-friendly for all involved. Allottees are now encouraged to stay vigilant and expedite their affidavit submissions, paving the way for quicker financial resolutions.
