India to Lead Global Trump Tower Expansion with Six New Projects Across Major Cities
A New Wave of Trump Towers Beyond the US
India is on track to host the most Trump-branded properties outside of the United States, with six new Trump Tower projects set to rise in key cities. These developments will bring the total count of Trump Towers in India to ten, up from the current four in Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, and Kolkata. The new projects, scheduled for completion over the next six years, will span residential towers, office spaces, villas, and golf courses, marking a significant expansion in Noida, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Pune.
Tribeca Developers and Trump Organisation’s Growing Partnership
The Trump brand’s expansion in India is driven by Tribeca Developers, the Trump Organisation’s local partner. Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca, expressed enthusiasm following Donald Trump’s recent presidential election win, suggesting that his victory could further elevate the Trump real estate brand in India. “The Trump family has been deeply invested in India for years, and with each project, our partnership aims to set new benchmarks for luxury,” Mehta told The Times of India.
Reflecting on their decade-old collaboration, Mehta recalled a pivotal meeting with Donald Trump Jr. over cocktails in New York. “We first discussed this collaboration on the back of a napkin, and our vision has been the same since—to focus on a few projects and make them the best in class,” he said.
Expanding the Trump Brand Under Modi’s Vision
India’s first Trump Tower launched in Mumbai in 2014, just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was coming to power. Mehta noted that Trump has always been optimistic about India, an optimism that solidified with Modi’s leadership. “Trump strongly believes in India’s growth potential, and with Modi’s leadership, he grew even more bullish. That’s why India now holds the most Trump-branded properties outside the U.S.,” Mehta added.
India’s Luxury Real Estate Boom with Trump Towers
Currently, the four Trump Towers in India cover 3 million square feet, offering 800 luxury residences priced between Rs 6 crore and Rs 25 crore, with a combined market value of Rs 7,500 crore. The upcoming six Trump-branded projects will add another 5 million square feet, projected to yield an estimated sales value of Rs 15,000 crore.
Plans for the Trump brand expansion include a new residential tower and office complex in Pune, with luxury golf courses and villas in cities like Noida and Hyderabad, signaling a strategic expansion across India’s prime real estate markets.
Strengthening Diplomatic Ties Through Real Estate Ventures
Mehta expressed that a Trump-led U.S. administration could further enhance India-U.S. relations, especially given the shared respect between Trump and PM Modi. “Trump’s favorable view of India and his respect for Modi’s leadership create an opportunity for a strengthened bilateral relationship that could benefit the world,” Mehta said.
As India emerges as the leading market for Trump-branded luxury developments outside the U.S., these new ventures are expected to cater to India’s growing demand for high-end residential and commercial spaces.
