Aranyakaa Farms Launches Revolutionary Water Conservation Project: H2O – Harvesting a Brighter Tomorrow

Innovative 61-Acre Farmland Initiative Aims to Tackle Bangalore’s Water Crisis
Bangalore, 16th September 2024 – In a significant move towards sustainability and water conservation, Aranyakaa Farms has unveiled its groundbreaking new project, H2O – Harvesting a Brighter Tomorrow. Spanning 61 acres in Beragai, near Bangalore, this pioneering farmland initiative is set to address the city’s escalating water shortage with advanced conservation techniques.
Strategic Location and Vision for Water Security
Situated 42 kilometers from Sarjapur – Outer Ring Road Junction Bellandur and 30 kilometers from Whitefield, the H2O project was conceived in response to the severe water crisis Bangalore faced in March 2024. Aranyakaa Farms envisions this project as a critical step towards ensuring water security for the region over the next decade and beyond. The initiative underscores the importance of proactive water management to safeguard resources for future generations.
Advanced Water Conservation Techniques
The H2O project integrates state-of-the-art water preservation methods, including:
Rainwater Harvesting Recharge Pits: 20-30 pits designed to replenish underground water sources.
Recharging Wells: For deep water infiltration.
Man-Made Lakes: Facilitating above-ground water storage.
A notable feature of the project is a two-and-a-half-acre man-made lake, which aids in maintaining the local hydrosphere and water table, enhancing the project’s sustainability and environmental appeal.
Sustainable Design and Community Integration
H2O is not only a water conservation project but also a model of sustainable living:
Sustainable Clubhouse: A 4-acre facility built using green architecture principles.
Gaushala: Promoting organic and sustainable farming practices.
Biopool: Offering a natural swimming experience.
Temple: Encouraging spiritual and community engagement.
Additionally, the project is strategically located in the emerging Hosur Economic Corridor (HEC), which will soon feature an airport, industrial and technology parks, and improved connectivity through STRR, PRR, and metro lines. This development is expected to enhance the long-term value of the land and offer appealing vacation opportunities with nearby attractions such as Krishnagiri Fort, Hogenakkal Falls, and Shoolagiri Hills.
A Commitment to Environmental and Community Wellbeing
Amit Porwal, Director at Aranyakaa Farms, expressed enthusiasm about the project: “We are extremely excited to unveil our Code Name H2O initiative. It addresses one of Bangalore’s most pressing challenges – water scarcity. This project is designed to have a significant impact on both community wellbeing and environmental sustainability through innovative water conservation methods.”
Aranyakaa Farms continues to lead in sustainable farming and development, reinforcing its commitment to creating investments that positively impact the environment and local communities.
